Yeong Seak Ling's painting entitled "Kampung Life Series 2004" (Collection of BANK NEGARA MALAYSIA) is featured in THE INTERNATIONAL MUSEUMS ENGAGEMENT DIARY 2007, published by Museums & Galleries Marketing Limited, Great Britain to fund the development of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) founded 1946 formally linked to Unesco. 48 paintings (from1400 until 2006) are chosen from the national museums over the world ( Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Cyprus, DENMARK, FINLAND, FRANCE, GREECE, HOLY SEE, ICELAND, IRELAND, ISRAEL, MALAYSIA, THE NETHERLAND, NORWAY, PORTUGAL, RUSSIA, SOUTH AFRICA, SWEDEN, SWITZERLAND, ENGLAND, NORTHERN IRELAND, SCOTLAND and UNITED STATE OF AMERICA,
The fact that Yeong Seak Ling is the only living Asian artist selected for the exclusive INTERNATIONAL MUSEUMS ENGAGEMENT DIARY 2007 together with many world great masters (from 14th - 21st century) like Pieter Bruegel the Elder (1525-1569), Edouard Manet (1832-1883), George Turner (1843-1910), Paul Gauguin (1848-1903), Jean Francois Millet (1814-1875) and Camille Pissarro (1830-1903) justified that the standard of art in Malaysia / Penang is of international standard.
